Freedom Factory is a music and performance organisation that offers expertise training in developing young artists to work within the music industry, both as a singer/songwriter and dancer.  We aim to expand the minds of children and young people through a series of creative, thought provoking lesson that encourage all children regardless of race or gender to explore their individuality and learn to understand their self-worth.

Freedom Factory is not just a place to learn, it is a space to share.

We believe that children are becoming more aware of their body image at a very young age, which is a result of hours spent on social media sites and apps.  Young people are continually shown unrealistic images of what a perfect figure or face is which has left many children with a number of anxieties and issues that they now have to deal with on a daily basis.  Bullying and self-harming are becoming a regular occurrence in our schools today, which is enhanced by the number of people sharing information via social media amongst their peers.

The age of the “Selfie” has changed how we value ourselves, and we believe it is now the time to address these problems head on.

Here at the Freedom Factory we will be offering a mentoring program to allow children to share their feelings and ideas, whilst educating them about the pros and cons of social media and how it is used within the music industry for self-promotion.  Teaching young people to understand their value and to not compare themselves to others is paramount.  We believe here at the Freedom factory we have created a program that will educate and motivate, and help young individuals who have not realised their potential yet.

We want to unlock the hidden talents of young people and open doors through a nurturing development program.  Freedom Factory has many links within the music industry and we are hoping to find the next “Ed Sheeran” or even “Stormzy” Could that child be yours?

We are recruiting teachers and assistants to join our founding team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing music and performance development group at its inception. Launching in September 2017 across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire, Freedom Factory are looking for experienced dancers and singers to join them as teachers and assistants.
